The Suisun City Youth Commission (SCYC) is passionate about promoting performing arts among young individuals. This is our dedicated page that serves as a gateway to various performance venues, offering opportunities for talented musicians to showcase their skills at both the community and regional levels. This platform celebrates the achievements of Suisun City Youth Commission artist, musicians, and other performers who have dawned our stage at our many performance venues on the Bay and Community Stage at the Solano County Fair, Music Series in the Park, Hall Park, Winter Music Series at the Suisun City Library, 4th of July Suisun City, Juneteenth-Suisun, Veterans Day Suisun, Gospelthons, Kwanzaa Suisun, the Solano Town Center and the Beyond Differences Student Service Organizations “No One Eats Alone” Talent Showcase to address social isolation among middle school students. Performing arts and Music as an enrichment activity is a community culture and cornerstone of the SCYC. The primary goal of the SCYC is to create a diverse performance venue where young individuals can exhibit their talents. We strive to see rare moments in music where our musicians bring together a vibraphonist, a koto and a bass to one of our music series. SCYC is committed to providing our youth with platforms to perform and showcase their talents. Additionally, the SCYC will utilize this page to announce future performing arts events, ensuring the community stays informed and engaged. The SCYC strongly believes in the power of performing arts to inspire and uplift young individuals, and are dedicated to nurturing their creativity and talent.
