BLACK HISTORY MONTH

Choose an individual or event and write a short essay about their impact on you, the community, society, or the world.  General Rules 1. Compose an original written paper of a minimum of 500 words and no more than 1000 words.  We will not turn down more extended essays. We want to encourage more articles about anti-slavery abolitionists like John Brown, Elijah Lovejoy, and Fredrick Douglas added to papers on education, politics, science, community, civics, family, faith, music, sports, and vocation in black history. 2. The essay must be in MS Word or Google Doc format. 3. The SCYC must receive all papers by February 22, 2022, but it doesn't end there. For more information about our Cultural Essay Writers Challenge and Coffee House presentations, Email: ChairmanSCYC@gmail.com.   In the subject area, please write Black History Essay Challenge.   For more information or how to join the Black History Essay Writer's Challenge, send us an email.  Click the picture to hear the SCYC Keynote presentation at the Tri-City NAACP:
